I dont know if this is the right forum to be posting this but what size gloves do Jr. Welterweights and Welterweights use?

10 or 8 oz? i think. in amatuers its 10oz, i dunno about the pros, it varies, due to the vast variety of brands etc... -
10 oz. in the amateurs.

Wdf 6 oz for pro and 10-12 for amateurs. Thats completely wrong i could swear down. I swear pro's use like 16 oz gloves at least and the amateurs like 10 or 12 like what was said. In Ali's day i think they were even 18oz and upwards not 100% though.Originally posted by kali meisterComment

So why the **** do i spar with 16 oz gloves. Is it to get me used to the weight so when i get in the ring my hands are ultra fast or something?Comment
