in Cuba every healthy boy tries to box, i have been to the states and england and have seen the am program in thoes places and it is nothing like the am program that i boxed in. boxing is state sponsered in my country and most boys want to be on the state or national team because it brings honour to you and your family. in the juinors if you stun somebody once the ref stops it and in open its 2 times but that does not take away from the fact that the referees stopped the fights because the other fighter was hurt. whats the problem? and yes some of the boxers were limited but some werent. and yes i was ranked in Cuba but if you dont make the national team you dont get to travel and fight in internation comp. i was on my state team for 9 years and that is very hard in my country. and when i was fighting there was no youtube (my last am fight was over 13 years ago) i could not beat the best in my country but i always had a punchers chance, out of my 33 loses 29 were by stoppage because that was the way i boxed. so whats so hard to belive?

the difference is huge, not in the quality of the boxers mind you it is different in the size and the magnatude of the event. at am shows in the uk there are mabey 60 to 70 boxers and in the states its around the same, but in Cuba there are shows every weekend sat and sun with 100s of boxers and there familys and they all day events, its a social gathering and people talk about the fights and the fighters all week. Boxing is a religion in my country

3-6, at least 3 of my losses were bad decisions. I'm improving greatly atm though, and my competition has always been hard.
