Not saying you cannot do it, you can do anything you want to, but it is alot of hard work, and also very high risk-little reward. I think you should use both atleast if you gonna fight as a southpaw, but fight out of whatever you feel the most comfortable, because that's what really matters... If you have all the power in the world with your left hand, so you want to be a southpaw because its your power hand, that means absolutely nothing if you cant balance yourself as well as you could in the ortho stance. on the contrary, it actually benefits you more in the ortho stance, as it will be your lead hand and youll have a good right to follow it.
man !that 6 wins ? i fought only with beginner amateurs like me, i havent fought with veterans yet that's why maybe im winning.. but when i spar with pro's or any veterans in the gym, my right straight is so slow it always misses, i hit by my straight most of the times when toe to toe moments and when my opponent is pressured in the rope or corners ..i like the combinations of southpaw and how it make angles and the tactical advantage eg. when a southpaw vs orthodox like a mirror effect its always opposite ..im comfortable with southpaw now , sparred 2 times since i converted and its very sweet landing left cross most of the times ..my only problems right now are maybe my a lil bit of footwork and second my jab became a bit slow ..
and sorry for my english it sucks ^__^
