No it doesn't, especially when you've only lifted weights for about a week. That you hit someone clean for the first time, happy to hear, but no, you'd know if you were a puncher.

One of the best fighters from PR no doubt and punchers. I like him. But between a choose of Tito and Cotto or Gomez, I got to go with my boy Miguel Cotto dog..it's just that swagga that he has in the ring and out that makes me a fan of him...

1 week of training anything wont make alot of diffrence, certainly not strenght training. that it happened once doesnt really mean anything, if u caught him walking into a punch he didnt see that landed clean on the chin it dosent have to be a hard shot to stun him. even malignaggi stunned diaz..
when it happens more often then that means u got some pop. strenght training wont do it though, it will help a bit but ultimately punchers are born not made.
if u dont have proper technique u wont get any power though, hearns and mcclellan werent considered punchers in the amateurs. then they hooked up with steward who showed them how to transfer their weight and get leverage. if u want to learns how to punch thats what u gotta focus on, if u still get nothing then your just not a puncher.

After a week of doing it i then sparred one of the top fighters in the gym he was a national team member we sparred many times before. So in the 3rd rd i just flicked a controlled 1.2 punch on him and hit em clean in the face and he got groovy and clinched, he hanged on me for 10 seconds. After that told that he almost went down.
