  • I almost K.O. my sparrin partner does this mean i got some power now?

    I never had got anyone K.O.ed or got them groovy not even in my 5 fights or the countless sparrin i have. But i had been upping my heavy bag lately to 8 rounds of the usual 3 rounds and i have been liftin weights a bit. After a week of doing it i then sparred one of the top fighters in the gym he was a national team member we sparred many times before. So in the 3rd rd i just flicked a controlled 1.2 punch on him and hit em clean in the face and he got groovy and clinched, he hanged on me for 10 seconds. After that told that he almost went down.

      Power in the legs

      believe it or not most of your power as a fighter comes from you legs. If u work on your legs and your core you'd be surprised of the wonders it does for your power, stamina, speed and durability over all.

        I dunno man, Tito Trinidad had crazy power and he dint have the heaviest legs of the bunch..

          trinidad was arguably the best cross country athlete of his age when he was younger

          he started his training camp mornings by jogging the Yunke rainforest up and down... trust me, he HAD pop in those legs lol

          EDIT: the best cross country runner IN PR, lol i forgot that bit

            lol wow I dint know that, thx for the info man.

            But what I meant, is by the size of his calves...like Manny P or Foreman? U kno wut I mean?

            still that is crazy...

              no problem. in was on a national level, i forgot to point that out

              but yeah, his legs were thin. such a powerful WW measuring 5'11 is impossible with big muscles, but he used well what he had

                ya.

                One of the best fighters from PR no doubt and punchers. I like him. But between a choose of Tito and Cotto or Gomez, I got to go with my boy Miguel Cotto dog..it's just that swagga that he has in the ring and out that makes me a fan of him...

                    Legs and shoulders, chest helps out too...
