easiest thing to do is watch your videos yourself, then watch a few bernard hopkins highlight reels and see what his doing differently to you.

You are on the right track bro.
i just would like you to work on your foot work, perfect your stance, and move around with your feet, back, side to side
the way you move your head right now, you kind of leave your head out of the mix
you have to mix up your head movement, or the other guys gonna time your rhythm and clock you...mix it up
Footwork first, then punches. i don't want you to be like Ali, but more like Evander Holyfield, he has solid footwork
good work broComment

Ok here we go. I took some video of me doing some shadowboxing and hitting the bag. I'm looking for some critique from those that have actual boxing experience. Other than gettin beat up a couple times in Jr. High school I have no fight experience at all.
I know I need to get a proper trainer and join a gym, various circumstances have prevented that thus far, so if you notice bad things I'm doing please tell me, oh and skip the first 12 secs of the heavy bag vid:

Yes! Yes they are and they are wonderful and beautiful, lol.
I was using a pair of Title bag gloves that cost like $40, but then someone I know, who doesn't even know boxing, bought me the Grants, totally by surprise. With the Title gloves, I had to use gel guards on my knuckles, and my knuckles would still hurt. The grants are a thing of beauty and near perfection, even if I throw a punch incorrectly at the most dense part of the bag I have no lingering knuckle pain at all.Comment

Ye I agree with everything said but this Im feelin. Try starting with straight punches, nudge a little closer then go with hooks to head and body and finish with a straight jab or straight right. Also u need a little more emphasis on shoulder and waist movement to get the power! Remember its a heavy bag and is meant to be his hard. just make sure you warm up and stretch. Ive twinged my shoulder in the past whacking the bag and not warming up. you could do with joining a gym before bad habits really set in. A trainer will pick up on them and iron them out with you!Comment

You should plant your feet more and twist into your punches like what people said twist your hips and legs but you need to put your hands up when your throwing combos because if you throw combos like that in a gym your gonna get counterdComment
