  • Vids of me Shadowboxing and Hitting the heavy bag

Ok here we go. I took some video of me doing some shadowboxing and hitting the bag. I'm looking for some critique from those that have actual boxing experience. Other than gettin beat up a couple times in Jr. High school I have no fight experience at all.

I know I need to get a proper trainer and join a gym, various circumstances have prevented that thus far, so if you notice bad things I'm doing please tell me, oh and skip the first 12 secs of the heavy bag vid:

You need to finish your movements before you start your next one, it's good to be busy but don't rush yourself.

ALso you need to let your right hand go more. The right hand starts with the front shoulder and the back foot. Your back foot should turn at the same time your front shoulder should be going back. Hard to explain so watch this, notice the back foot turning with the shoulders and hips.

Good right hand has nothing to do with muscle, its all about kinetic energy. Gluck
