Boxing gyms in NJ NY and phili

Im moving to annandale New Jersey soon and i was wondering if anyone new of eny really good boxing gyms there ones that work more with fighters rather than the classes just a fighters gym or something close i would really appreciate the help ive been looking pretty hard Thank you for any help

Well, there are a few boxing gyms in New York that I know that are considered to be good.

Mendez Gym
Church Street Boxing Gym
Gleasons

Mendez is expensive but there are fighters there. Church street is not as expensive but is simply white collar boxing and the coaches there aren't that great. I say no to that one. Gleasons is the best bet out of the three. Good luck.

I'm not sure about Paulie but I know Yuri Foreman trains there.

Paulie trains on and off at gleasons as well as mendez on 5th ave not the one on 25th. Paulies originally from starret city gym in Brooklyn

Gleasons is the best one in New York imo.

Shraim's Boxing and SPorts Academy in Bridgewater NJ and Final Round Boxing Gym in Whippany seem like the closest gyms to you if you are in Annandale. NY and Philly are pretty far from Annandale and to get there will be difficult. boxinggyms.com/addresses/newjersey.htm[/url] .

Check out that website. It has a lot of the NJ gyms and addresses on the site. There are more, but you have to search. I am in NJ, but live about 45 mins from Annandale. I train at a very small gym with a guy named Santos Lopez who had 18 pro fights in the 90's. I am learning a lot and enjoying the training.

I could be wrong but i think joe fraziers gym has closed down a little while ago.

Philly has a bunch of nice gyms though... there is front street gym, jack costello boxing club, Joe Hand boxing gym, joltin jabs, kensington ramblers boxing, champs gym, grays ferry gym, and there are a bunch of other ones i have only been to a few of these.

I personally train right outside of philly at Upper Darby Boxing Club.
