Looks like I will never be able to start a boxing career. =/

I've recently had an appointment.. A scheduled date for my AM debut on December 11th..

I'm training... and also dropping in weight.. Not by much though.. I walked around at 132 or so.. I needed to be at 119 for the fight, but then I heard 119 was removed, therefore I had to make 123. 1 month away for the fight.. I feel this chest pain.. By my heart... I was doing the pads with my trainer, and this sharp pain was there.. I weight myself that day and I was 123. I told him about it, and he thinks its from the weight loss.. But I didn't think so.. So yea.. I finished training for the day.. Doing light stuff.. Cause I couldn't do anything.

The next day.. OMG.. death... This pain was intense.. Its on my left peck, but every time I take a deep breathe or throw a hard left hook.. It hurts.. The pain didn't go away.. Advil didn't work.. No pain creams.. NOTHING!

Then I made an appointment for the doctor.. To check my heart, and they say nothing is wrong.. I'm like WTF then? What's wrong.. They say it might be "Inflamation of the heart"

Its been 2 weeks later, and the pain isn't as worse as before, but I can't run like I can before because I can't take deep breathes like I used too.. My power is sapped because I can't throw hooks with leverage, and when I go to evade a punch to lean down.. The pain comes..

Has this happened to anyone? I'm thinking I tore something, but it doesn't hurt when I move it.. Only when I breathe or use the muscle to throw a punch or evade.. I don't think I tore something, but probably partially?

**** man.. Watching Cotto lose, made me just want to work hard for my fight, but I can't even train! This **** sucks because I wanted to enter the Golden Gloves also for the novice division.. I had great sparring so far.. What ****ing luck do I have!!! :****you: :****you::****you:

yeah so sounds like a rib is out of place possibly. good luck with that.

      Rib subluxation or SLIPPED RIB

Id say you do this thing where you lay down on your stomach and do a back bend. you push your upper body up with your arms so your hands are on the ground and your arms are straight. now bring your chin down to your chest and puff out your chest once you have your chest puffed out stretch your head back as well stretch out your chest and abs. this will stretch out your intercostals the muscles between your ribs which is more then likely what got pulled and should help with recover.

Id also reccomend trying to touch your toes afterwards as well just good for your back and their are intercostals their as well so it would probably help as well.

u need to cut it down on oily foods high in cholesterol.. too much weight loss and fluid loss is the reason it caused a sudden collapse on the diameter of your veins and cholesterol and clot, thrombus blockages are causing that pain.. if it were to occur in a vein in your head u might get a stroke.

I haven't been eating that much oily food though..

Sometimes when I make eggs.. I make them hard boiled and sometimes eat the yolk with it.. That might be why..

****... I feel like an old **** already watching my cholesterol.. How do I rid of this? is there a way?

this is the stretch that i described. only you should puff out your chest for more stretching in the intercostals.

if you try it atleast once you should feel where its sore being stretched if it is a slipped rib.

you can also do some sit ups where your hands are above your head then you sit up and try to touch your toes. if it hurts like a mother ****** its to do with your intercostals and you need to do the above stretch.

also if its only deep breathing that causes the problem and not just any breathing that makes the pain its another sign that its just something pulled. deep breathing tends to use the intercostals where as normal breathing dosnt.

Yea.. Just deep breathing.. I can't even run either.. Because when I do.. The pain is there also.. Its weird..

Thanks for the info.. I'm going to try this out.

Looks like I won't be able to fight in December =/... I was ready too.

I was doing back bends onto a lazy boy so i didnt hurt my self and i think i bounced off the lazy boy on one of them alittle to fast and pulled something in my chest same pain and all that especially when throwing hooks/turning my body and deep breathing. looked into it thought for alittle bit about the muscles involved and started doing that stretch about 3 or 4 days later i felt fine its been back once or twice but i just do a few stretches and its fine the next day.

its also an amazing stretch between sets of situps when you dont think you can do anymore.
