does size make a difference when it comes to speed?

i mean it just seems logical that a person who is 190 and in shape (myself) has more mass on his body than a person who is 140 and in shape. so therefore, 90% of the time they SHOULD be faster than me, right? they have less muscle than me on their bodies, so is that how it works or am i wrong here?

also, if im 190 and could move like a welterweight, is that a rare thing? would i be considered gifted?

Yeah usually the smaller guys are more fluid and quicker.

It takes a very talanted and unique big man who can move like a much smaller man, just as it takes a very gifted small man to punch like a much bigger man

You are always going on why you are gifted. Just go to a gym and use your "gifts".

Usually people that go out of their way to boast about being gifted turn out they are just insecure and trying to reinforce themselves.

I doubt Manny Pacquiao or Mike Tyson went on about how they were gifted with speed.

saying you are fast is one thing but going on about being "gifted" is another.

My friend used to embarrass himself so bad he would lie on my living room floor and go "thank you God for my genetics" even though he didn't have an athletic muscle in his body.

Tyson never bragged about being gifted, he was just full of himself. That is different but it's nothing genetic.
