It also seems like their heads are bigger and eyebrow bones/cheekbones protrude more. Could this be because they were born that way and that facial structure gave them an advantage? or could it be because they've been blasted in the face so many times that their body has adapted and increased bone density.
most good boxers have low body fat too..this could be why they have visible cheek bones.

no, unless you take alot of hard solid punches, very often, it should'nt damage your actual bone(therefore the bone being rejuvinated in a stronger denser form), it will just most likely **** up your skin

For the Muay Thai discussion...their shins weren't always as hard as they are now.

That's the same technique used with muay thai fighters that repeatedly kick the tree with their shins to make them stronger. I suppose it works for the legs. So why not the face?....

              Great perspective.
Thais have alot of shin injuries such as fractures, splints and the highest rate of shin cancer in the world so I don't think your analysis is correct! The tree smacking does not make their bone or shin anymore stronger. All it does is kill the nerves in their shin as their bodies adapt

Not sure if this is true. Foreman and Barrera have round faces. Maybe it is all in your head? As far as I know, the muscles in my neck might be stronger but after 13 years of comnbat sports, the bones in my face look pretty much the same.
