sure if you want to build muscle than eat more protein.

You want to have better heart, maybe eat more fiber,

you want to lose weight? count your calories.

And I had to stop eating beyond a certain time, too.

8 hrs what's that called the eat all day & fast when you sleep diet
It takes at least 12 hrs to deplete your glycogen store's.
Being in my 40s 18 hr fasts 6pm till lunch only kept me balanced, for weight loss i have to have at least 2, 1 meal per day fast's per week & eat healthy regularly low carb the next to fire up my metabolism for more weight loss.
        Do what works for you.
First meal of the day is even called Break-fast.
224- 196 since the uk opened up. After a break, going for 189 before Christmas.
        Be patient, we're all different.

Yep do what works/feels best for you like you said. There’s so much “click bait” even from doctors or scientists that say “never” or “always”, that’s just headlines to catch attention. It’s not like these people are posting a picture of their physiques either. The truth is manipulation of the same amount of calories will never create a drastic difference in your physique as far as I’m concerned.I do like fasting though, but mostly because I have a sensitive stomach and digestion issues. The less volume of food in me, the better I feel. I’m also not prone to low blood sugar. Everyone has different expenditures during the day. Everyone knows the amount of calories it takes to maintain, gain or lose weight. Find the consumption rate that lets you have the energy at the right points for your day. Trust your knowledge about yourself more than any “professional” that posts “the one thing” “the most important” “always” “never” “mistakes” type headlines. That’s click bait internet culture.

Thanks bro. Been back training for last fourteen days after a hiatus. Been loving what Milos Sarcev has been doing with his athletes. He’s always been about the “Giant Sets”. So ive been doing those for each muscle group, only two sets back to back so far is all I can manage but it’s been tearing up the muscles. I know he sometimes gets his guys to do up to five or more sets but those are young pros. I could barely move after my first week back. Calves were sore for days after first and second workout of them. I just do body weight calf raises on a thick tapped up phone book.

lol not these days. I do 4-6 days a week. I’ve always enjoyed days off to repair. Also days off give me an excuse to fast or cut down on calories. I know one of my biggest bottlenecks is I don’t push the food like I could when I was younger. Still I always found eating the hardest part, im only willing to do what keeps me comfortable. I’ve had digestion issues all my life. When I was 30lbs heavier I don’t remember the consumption being too hard but I was young and motivated and had lots training partners who help you push and eat. Now it seems like a dream lol

I get full a lot quicker these days, but I want to eat every four hours.

See, I can go forever without eating and I like it. I feel my best on an empty stomach. I get bloated easily, heartburn, digestive issues. I have friends and family with Crohns so I’m thankful I’m not at that level. I’ve been taking some pro biotics lately seeing if this will help and some activated charcoal for bloating. We will see. My twin brother is taller and bigger than me, but he doesn’t have the digestive issues, and has a more voracious appetite. I used to cringe when I’d see him eat a meal then wash it down with a protein shake. Though in my prime if we made it a competition I could pack it in. I remember doing four Big Macs a couple large fries, several apple pies, a couple litres of soda, in maybe less than 20mins. I know that’s nothing compared to the competitive eaters you see on YouTube nowadays, but those people are the best in the world. For me now, it’s hard to believe I ever could do that. Also back in the day we would get all the expired products from the supplement stores that were meant to be thrown out. We would have dozens of bottles of protein, cell-tech etc. at one time. The Blender was always on.
