  • I need help to lose weight guys!

    Hello,

    Im 5'11
    230 lbs

    One month ago i started my "weight loss" regime, well all i would do is bench press and arm curl every day. 5 sets of 10 for both exercises, and i would do about 100 sit ups and 200 squats a day.

    When i started i was :

    230 LBS
    I could bench 20 lbs LOL

    ONE MONTH LATER

    230 LBS
    I can bench 60 lbs LOL
    And i dont fit into my clothes any better, im still as fat as i was before and this is obviously not working for me.

    And on the side i would play baseball twice a week and walk the dog every other day. My eating was relatively good, not over eating, eating all my fruits and good stuff like that. And i still cant seem to lose any weight, a year ago i was 220 at one point and i went down to 190 in about 2 weeks by just eating less!!!! now i couldnt lose a pound to save my life!! LOL. I need help, i know i should be doing more cardio like running and going on a stationary bike ect, but im wondering if there is something else out there that will help me lose wieght, i want to go down to 190 AS quickly and healthy as possible!

    You guys got any ideas? and is there any vitamins and or supplaments you guys reccomend? I know green tea will help with metabolism and i want to know if there is anything else i can take that will help my metabolism.

    I would really REALLY appreciate any feed back please! my weight is bothering me, and i really want to lose the wieght fast but i hit a block and im not loseing nothing.

    One thing: you shouldn't be able to do the same weight exercises everyday, and even if you can you shouldn't do them anyways. Your muscel needs time to heal.

    If you want to lose weight the big thing is doing cardio, keeping your body burning, building muscel will increase your metabolism but short term it won't help you lose weight.

    Cut the sets and reps add more weight and do more varieties of exercises, break your weight training up over lets say 3 days a week to start, add in running/biking what ever. There is no magic bullet weight loss is long slow painful and it sucks, trust me.

      First thing you need to do is clean up your diet. Cut out excessive carbs, fats and sugars.

      Go Green. Get lots of Vegetables and Lean Protein.

      Eat 6 meals a day in small portions to keep your energy levels and metabolism up.

      And for the love of God, change up your workout routine.

      Don't be doing the same **** everyday.

      Look into HIIT as well.

        i use to take hydroxycut and i lost 15 lbs in 1 month without exerciseing...seriously, but i dont wanna take that stuff again cuz i heard it can kill you.

          Make sure your burning enough calories to counter what you'r putting in the tank.

            There is no magic formula man...Some have a harder time than others losing weight but ya need to workout religiously and eat healthly. Try a protein shake once or twice during the day it should help u feel full and cardio is the key. Jump rope,run,hit the heavy bag,etc. good luck.

              Hydroxycut is banned. They have a new Hydroxycut out now but it's just a combination of herbs and anti-oxidants yet they still claim it will melt pounds off. LOLZ

              yeah start with cleaning up your diet and fixing your workout program and see how that goes for a few months

                yea i will do that, i just have back spasms right now so i cant work out gotta let it heal

                  play some basketball on your off days. I always lose weight when I play some basketball

                    Don't take that. I lose weight with hitting the treadmill and good exercise program of free weights. Also, walk, walk, walk and stay away from fried foods and drink ALOT of water. i've lost 12 lbs in 3 months and that is not alot but it helps. My sugars and blood pressure is at its best in 10 years.
