Had a hell of a sparring session today....

Ok, before I even say anything, I'm 5'8 143. My oppenent was 5'8 178.....with that being said, I got my ass kicked today.

Dude was just too strong man....I'm a pressure fighter, I love to turn up the heat on people. And no matter how much I turned it up...this guy would always keep his cool. He had a mean left (he was a south-paw.) We went at it for 3, five minute rounds. But i ended up with a bloody nose and a massive headache. And some really sore shins...time for a cold shower.

Hell, I went to work today for 8 hours of labor, went to boxing then sparred a 6'1 188lb guy. In which I'm 5'5 164lbs. Sparring sucks at times. I had my fun today, very entertaining.

        You should be 154lb, Vers.

It's always fun. Some days are rougher than others, but it's always a good time.

I took the hardest shot I have ever taken in my life today though. This dude threw a straight left from hell, hittting me square in the nose. Stopped me in my tracks man and him too haha he stopped what he was doing and asked if I wanted to keep going. Classy dude. Anywaysss. Ain't nothing like a good workout man....feelin' like a million bucks!

Haha. I'm getting there, when I spar that guy next week I'll be in the 50 range. Sparring bigger ppl with a killer reach is excellent for me because when I actually face ppl my size I won't be getting that. Kind of like weighted clothes once you take them off or heavy gloves.

That dude hits like a train too, even better.

I was doing 10 hours and then hitting the gym for a while, I quit however as it was to much on me. If my coworkers were at least tolerable I probably would have kept it up. It really builds the stamina though (I was doing construction, i'm only a featherweight (walk around at 127, 5'6)

Work can be a big hassle. I'm the warehouse manager so I have to be there. Right after I was done sparring I went back to work for 2 more hours. We do a **** load of work for 2 and a half ppl(the half is a part timer)

At times you have to make the decision on what you wanna do.
