Good luck homie. I've been training for the Chicago marathon for 2 months now. Hitting double digits is definitely a great feat. Again good luck! bring a water bottle though, you'll need it.

Had to reply to this.. If true, I'm really impressed.. While prime (about 20 years ago) I regularly did 8 miles in around 1 hr 20mins.. Ok.. That was to the swimming baths, where I'd do a few lengths, b4 relaxing in the sauna & getting the bus home... How old are you??

                (Life story coming up)

Turned 40 last year & was grossly obese weighing 233lb (106kilo). Joined the local boxing gym and within 9 months got wight down to 183lb (83kilo this morning)

Started running and now train 6 days a week. 3 boxing 3 running.

I downloaded a great dvd rip called CHI running which shows you how to run with min effort.Would recomend it to everyone.

                Set 2 goals this year.

1st ever fight Sept 12th (white collar event)

1st ever full marathon Nov 29th

Just wished i had seen the light and got this fit years ago.But better late than never huh!?

I used to run loads of 10 milers. They're good i used to like doing them.Had a treadmill in my hut gym but it went on the bung.800 quids worth but still don't regret it even tho it's broken.I ended up just buying a bag once it broke a couple of years ago and that's how i got into boxing because how intense it was.The last mile or 2 on the 10 milers is when it kicks in.T-shirt weighed right down, good buzz i need to start running again
