Can anyone give me advice to beat strong pressure fighters?

Make them fight moving backwards instead of forwards...set your own tempo and don't allow them to form a rhythm

alot of pressure fighters will Love you coming fowards. they want to go toe to toe with you. if your apuncher thats fine but if not then......

Jab while on the outside and throw the right hand but dont overcommit. Hit them with uppercuts as they come in if they still get close clinch

you gotta get them outta their game plan. A lot of counter fighters that do amazing fighting backwards used their speed and accuracy to tear pressure fighters down. Ali did it, jones jr did it, mayweather jr did it. You have to mix up your footwork and keep them off balance and pot shot. snap that jab out there and move. stick and move. make them cover up because of your jab and then throw in a body shot or 2. a good combo when you know they start covering up on your jab is the lunge jab then a lead body shot however you like to throw it. or if you get their timing down just right you can step slightly out of range of a straight and dash in with a right body shot.

Speaking as a pressure fighter, it's that damn jab that pisses me off. When they throw it constantly it messes up my rhythm and I have to reset.

good footwork and a great jab. make sure u move constantly, use angles and stay of the ropes. work your jab, and i mean really work it. throw quick double and triple jabs, pump the jab, up-jabs, jab to the body etc. it will keep him of balance, score points, keep distance, work as defense and set up your other offense. if u got the jab working u can do whatever u damn well please. jab to the body sets up the overhand right, u can feint a bodyjab and throw a lead hook to the head. jab to the head sets up the right hand and uppercut to the head or body. if u cant find it try hooking of the jab. control him with the jab and try to catch him walking in with something big. if he gets a bit to close for comfort throw a combination then move or clinch. just keep moving your feet and using your jab, thats the key to it all. also make sure some of your follow up punches are to the body, it will help tremendously down the stretch. also make sure to counter, if u make him miss make him pay. the second he feels he can miss punches without paying the price he will jump on you and it will be very hard for u to box him at that point.

See what this man just said? The jab throws him off, and it's the most basic punch. It's obvious he's sparring outboxers in his gym, and he's in infighter. It all depends on who's throwing the jab, but I've seen some infighters get devastated by a guy just throwing jabs and moving. I myself am naturally an infighter but I have a good left jab, it's just that in the heavyweight class I go up against guys who at 6'5, 6'6 sometimes and at 6'4, I don't attempt to outbox those taller than me who rely on straight shots. I just bully my way in and use my power...If an infighter is shorter than me and coming straight at me, I will start off the match with jabs and crosses and lateral movement...as we both warm up I will dig in to the body first and lower the guard, then aim for the head...once they retreat and you take the offensive, the fight's yours.

Learn how to tie them up when they start asserting themselves too much.
