Peek-a-boo is a tough style to execute. Even with your gloves up, taking shots on the gloves can force you back. And you can still take a lot of shots to the body since your hands are up. You have to be tough and able to walk forward under pressure. I'll use the peek-a-boo guard sometimes if I'm coming under heavy fire, but I try to avoid it because it leave you open for body shots and the uppercut.

def good for inside fighting. I was sparring this tall guy with the longest reach in the world, and i just couldnt hit him. I am a outside fighter...so i decided to try the peek-a-boo a lil bit. I watch alot of tyson fights, and i actually work on this style with the maize bag, but it was never my intentions to actually use it. well i slipped my way on the inside while he tried to jab me, and boom i caught him under his shin with a good left uppercut he literally lifted off the ground. Obviously i didnt try to knock him out we were just sparring so i backed off of him, but Ive never felt a punch that felt that good before, and ive knocked 2 guys out.
