    thats exactly what i do,
i jus need to learn to evade the punishment better

you already got alot of great resonses. basicly u can chose to fight em. or u can try to box em in which case feints, jabs and combinations are the key. let me just add this. finish of your combinations with a jab, and throw lots of em. 1-1-2-3-2-1-1. that type of combinations with emphasis on speed rather than power. lots of quick punches.

i mostly fight as a counter puncher behind a tight turtleshell sort of defence, and what gives me trouble is lots of feints and high volume punching, even if most of the shots dont get through it is still annoying as i like to get to take time and set my shots up, so basically constant activity can put a counter puncher off

Smart pressure with a very good jab. A counter puncher who's a conventional fighter will likely try to counter with a right hand so stay outside their left foot to avoid the right. If you keep your right hand up you protect against the left hook. Just work on it in the gym and it will come. Have a sparring partner just be a counter puncher and work on some things and you'll put it together.

my fave is to jab, double jab(second with power) not giving them anything thy can counter. then when they decide they have to lead i counter them!

other option is to throw lots of punches apllying pressure. a counter puncher cannot counter while under constant attack unless he is very good.

Keep the left hand up and expect right hand counters.

one more option is to jab but let your left come down afterwards then counter the impending right hand
