I broke my nose a few times and don't wanna mess it up too bad so i was thinkin about this kind of headgear. Like the one pacquiao was using sparring for hatton. Anyone use it, if so pros cons, how is it?

Pro: protects your face more
Con: Can't see as well. Also, since you know punches to the face won't hurt you, you may unintentionally drop your hands a bit, leaving you open when you switch to regular headgear for a fight. -
thanks guys, i know his is expensive
i was looking at the ones in ringside the reyes or fightgear brands
theyre 130 and 150, so thats managableComment

What about breathing? Is that OK. If so, I might try one outComment

If you have permanent serious eye injury you should probably stick to sparring and not compete. Its not uncommon to get hit in the eye in fights so I don't think anyone should risk getting blind just to have some competition in their lives. It's not like you have the chance to become world champion, right?Comment
