It could quite possibly be something like postural hypertension or, much more likely, you may have an iron deficiency. It's very common for people with an iron deficiency to feel weak and dizzy, especially after working out.

Get to your local GP and get checked out immediately. There is only one way to find out what it is and it's not here on an internet forum. You can only get guesses. Get checked out.

if u find out let me know what it was, cos it happened me about 6 months ago and i still dont know what the **** happened.
Went to the hospital (as i fell face first onto the edge on the tv unit and broke my jaw, split my chin open and knocked a tooth out), they ran LOADS of tests, even had a proper heart scan incase it was a minor stroke and they didnt know what it was. I think it was dehydration but dont know for sure. i was working in really hot weather labouring earlier that day, lost a lot of sweat. but then again i did that every day for a year and that never happened. i wasnt even doing anything just before it happoned, was chilling at a mates house. But i dont have the healthiest lifestyle in the world.

I'm still alive so im not worried about it, hasnt happened since then. i just get curious when i hear of things like this happening

I know this is what happened. I was feeling very sick like I had the flu, so I stopped working out and went upstairs and was going to the fridge to get a water but then I felt very weak so instead of getting a water I sat down on the chair and I was having a hard time breathing and my body felt like it was going to explode and I constantly was swetting and it wouldn't stop. This was probably going on about 1 minute or 2 minutes I don't remember exactly how long it was, but I wasn't expecting to pass out even feeling as weak as I did. Then my brother came in the house and with all the swet juicing off of me, the last thing I remember saying to him is somethings wrong. And then I the next thing I see is my brother and dad putting me onto a chair and saying I feel off the chair and hit my head on a 40 pound dumbbell that I keep by the table...

Here is some of the bad **** I eat when I order fastfood type food. Buffalo chicken pizza, pepporoni pizza, and dominos pizza. And **** like that, it might have had something to do with that ****. And I hope it didn't because if it did I might be blacking out soon again because I order that stuff alot. Oh, yeah I like to drink sprite soda alot lately. I didn't use to be such a soda drinker.

something similar with me, but i didnt feel sick, felt light headed for about 2 minutes, getting worse as it went on, and i mean a lot worse (dunno if you've ever smoked weed but imagine smoking 1000 bongs in one go and you'll get the idea)! i remember getting up to go outside to sit down for some fresh air, but i didnt make it, i dropped, woke up almost instantly with my mates around me, got up to sit down on the sofa, then same thing happened again only i fell into the tv unit ****ing me up. My diet at the time was probably the healthiest i've ever eaten (was broke for about 6 months before that, couldnt afford fast food, weed or booze!) so i'm pretty sure that had nothing to do with it for me. Or maybe it had everything to do with it and it just took a while to catch up on me!

I wouldnt worry about it too much unless in happens again. now u know the signs of what happened you the 1st time, you'll know to sit down next time so u dont fall!

My guess for me was dehydration, or reading other posts maybe an iron deficiency. Guinness is my main source of iron and i hadnt had any of it in months!

I was working out and felt dizzy, came up from my basement to my dinning room, and then sat down and passed out and fell face on my weights with my left side of the back of my head hitting the 40 pound dumbbell, then my face must have slid or something because I have a gash on my forehead and a gash under my right eye. But I have a bump on my left back side of my head. I don't know I was breathing heavily and couldn't stop it then started swetting and the swet wouldn't stop and thats when I passed out out of the seat and hit the dumbbell... Because I lift weights also by the dinning table. And when my dad and brother got me back up on the seat and woke me up I didn't even know my head had cracked into a 40 pound dumbbell until they told me.

And I was still having a hard time breathing and felt like I was doing, when my brother and dad woke me up I asked them to get me to the doctors. My dad had called someone doctor he knew and they could take me but instead we waited and I started getting my strength back a little. I still feel weak and this happen like 7 hours ago I believe now. This is the scariest thing ever because I've been lifting weights for 10 years and my body has never reacted by shutting down on its own. This pain I felt before passing out felt like I had the flu a million times fold. And that same pain was still their when my dad and brother woke me up a second later after they noticed I passed out... It was bizarre and took like a full minute or two for my body to start gaining a little strength back.
Go and get tests done. Ask to have some of those heart tests done, where they check its rhythm etc. Dont mean to scare you but you should go.
