PACE YOURSELF!!!!! relax when your in the ring, theres no point in going hell for leather, you might win but you'll learn NOTHING. Think about your shots, think about your defense. boxings not a street fight, for goodness sake.

All the fitness in the world wont help you if you 'box' like that. It would take some ridiculous conditioning to last 3x2s of throwing punches every single second, as hard as you possibly could. Spar more and learn to box. then box
yeah it does take ridiculous conditioning, and thats why you have to do it. if you don't wanna do the work to win, don't box. it sucks, i know.

Right, so coming out steaming at 300 miles an hour is the only way to win fights? Not for me, theres such a thing as a brain, and i use it when i box. conditioning is my fall back option, not plan A. you'll come unstuck if being fitter than everyone and boxing at an insane pace is your only plan

yeah, im an idiot. How many bouts have you had exactly? if you try to 'slug' with someone whos had more than 2 or 3 fights your going to have circles boxed around you

now i want to ask is how should i be getting my conditioning up more to be able to flurry for a full fight..i run every other day about 3 miles ... should i increase it to everyday? i dont ever want this to happen again i feel like crap after all the training i ave been through it feels like i let everyone down i gassed out what should i do?? it was my breathe my wind that needs work
so did i, in fact, i got knocked out in my first fight.
i stopped fighting with an 86 - 11 record in the ams .
i had multiple diamond glove titles including gold.
bronzed in the national gg's when i was invited .
received many fight of the night in smokers.

i did pretty good, the secret was not giving up.

Run for distance.... next time... run sprints.... Changing up is the best thing you can do...

When your running distance your not training your body to be able to handle ALL OUT PEAK LEVEL endurance... thats where sprints come in.

Running as hard as fast as you can, will prepare you for when you are flurrying, your body will be used to the hard breathing, and the pushing of your body.
                  ever used plyos?

I think I read somewhere that Calzaghe lost his first amateur bout... just try to learn from your mistakes made and just dedicate yourself to improve I guess, also a good idea is to have good work rate like you do... but you still need to pace it more... you can box for a little bit then catch your opponent by surprise and flurry away at him for a little bit then go back to Boxing... you need to pace yourself so you can enter the final round with something left in the tank.
