    best fight ending punch

I thought I posted a similar question yesterday but cant find it.......hope it didnt get taken off.

Since I only practice with a bag and am a huge enthusiast, can anyone who is an experienced boxer give me some bag ideas to improve my abilities in a confrontation. I know boxing and a street fights are 2 different things but since practicing for several months on the bag and improving my endurance through running, I feel a lot more confident. I do not go out and pick fights,etc.......

In practice using say a 1,2 punch,./..........I try to sometimes practice the best 2 shots to floor someone that would be more or less a preemptive unavoidable situation when you know someone is about to hit you.

I have thought a solar plexus shot with a quick left jab and a right to the nose or chin as they react? .......on the bag I can do 2 shots like this in split second but I know the streets are different. Is this a viable combo or should I think of something easier?

What 2 shots would be most effective to end something immediately when you have first opportunity.

I would like to incorporate into my practice something around this train of thought.

    Thanks.

The shot that I have found ends so many street fights is when they throw that predictable wide off balance overhand right I duck and left hook and they are on their way down then land that right hand. Left hook/uppercut. Just to fast over in seconds.

Don't bother with any body shots. Not in a street fight you would be exposed start up top. ALWAYS.

quite honestly the best thing you could do in a street fight is not a punch, but rather a feint. Feint a blow, let them react and shoot on 'em hard. Basically in a street fight all of those bozos punches are coming long and wide. Feint them, let them start what they call an attack and shoot straight down the pipe. Touch 'em in the nose and its generally game over...........Rockin'

feinting works especially well when your mad lol.. but they may just back up in fear instead of throwing (happened to me). i would say slowly inch in range and 1-2 and then swarm .. i dont know, just hit the ****er really hard and fast with propper technique, try not to get overexcited and lose your balance

Yup totally agree. 9/10 times the punches coming towards with you will be wide right hand, calm and you can pretty much do what ever to them. Sum 200lb guy was once throwing the ******est wide hooks at me i had time to make a cup of tea before i had to duck.

Ive only hit to the body once in a street fight once he was really drunk and just didnt stop swinging so i decided to put him out of his misery and not embarase him too much.

How do you dodge overhand rights or lefts? Is ducking it possible? Cause its like coming from the top right? How do you duck it?

            Thanks.

use your shoulder to guard over hand rights or your left forearm. right forearm/hand for lefts.

              perhaps

The best finishing punch Depends on the person. There is no prime Punch... and the closest one to being a punch for all would be any sort of uppercut...

That puts everyones legs, arms, back, and stomach into the punch eventually throught the swing.. Whether they throw it correctly or not.
