I thought I posted a similar question yesterday but cant find it.......hope it didnt get taken off.
Since I only practice with a bag and am a huge enthusiast, can anyone who is an experienced boxer give me some bag ideas to improve my abilities in a confrontation. I know boxing and a street fights are 2 different things but since practicing for several months on the bag and improving my endurance through running, I feel a lot more confident. I do not go out and pick fights,etc.......
In practice using say a 1,2 punch,./..........I try to sometimes practice the best 2 shots to floor someone that would be more or less a preemptive unavoidable situation when you know someone is about to hit you.
I have thought a solar plexus shot with a quick left jab and a right to the nose or chin as they react? .......on the bag I can do 2 shots like this in split second but I know the streets are different. Is this a viable combo or should I think of something easier?
What 2 shots would be most effective to end something immediately when you have first opportunity.
I would like to incorporate into my practice something around this train of thought.
Thanks.
