I have been involved in boxing since I was 13, Im in my 30's now. I have tried countelss gloves, I can't even begin to think the name brands of gloves I have had on my hands and I can honestly say, I have never used a better quality glove than Reyes. Both fighting and training gloves.
I just love the way they feel around my hand and fingers. The padding is less than most gloves (being punchers gloves) but theres nothing like the feel. Especially if you have broke them in.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good gloves out there. Grant, Winning, Everlast make some good gloves depending on the type you get but I don't know for me Reyes beats them all.
There are some gloves I haven't tried on yet and I wonder if anyone knows anything about them. They are called Rival gloves, even have some crazy new design for the wrist area. Anyone know how good these gloves are, they look fancy and modern but never put on a pair.

My experience with reyes training gloves.
-Finger pocket too short, my fingers felt cramped up.
-Pocket way too wide, could almost fit 2 of my hands in one.
-Since its such a wide glove and since the cut is a terrible thumb cut, your thumb will sit very awkwardly.
-Materials are very good but the coloring crackled and started coming off after 8 uses. I did not use any lotion on them or anything but still...

Really? I never ever had that happen to any of my Reyes gloves and I have some old pairs of them.
It's funny what you say about the fit of the glove because I have very wide hands and flat feet, so maybe that's why I love the feel of Reyes. I have tried other gloves and they feel akward to me, even a little to tight.
I don't even have small hands either, they are avg size for a guy my height but they are wide.
