i dont, i use regular handwraps, but then again my hands are very good, never had an injury or break and i havent been fighting very long, in the future i will probably start using gauze and tape, but its so damn expensive it definitely wont be until i need it

180" mexican style, properly wrapped, is more than enough for working a 100lb heavy bag, when used with some 10oz+ (more often 12-16oz) bag gloves. Ive never seen any amateur train in person with the gauze/tape. For me it seemed that starting training (idk...9~ years ago id say, i was 15 and it was more for fun) with crappy velpreau 108" wraps, half decently wrapped helped strengthen my wrists/knuckles while attempting to develop a decent punch or two. Heh, even though i prob ruined the wrist training already the year before trying to do the same thing bare knuckle.....bloody knuckles/rolled wrists, not advised. But hey, the better the wrap to suit your punch power/technique/style, the longer you can beat that heavy bag.
