Megadude, what a nasty thing to say!!!! and wrong you are aswell.
I have a cus who was a crap boxer when he started but after a year training he had 4 bouts in first season and won 2 of em lost other 2 on points one off which he was robbed.Won his last 2.So i think well done to my cuz for sticking at it as now hes on bit of a winning streak when would of been easy for him to quit boxing after first 2 defeats.
It's aiite, nothin special. At least he's working the jab with technique ya know?
Step in with your jab by pushing off your back foot; then work the right hand in there once in a while. Turn that mutha fcuka over and lay it in there.
You're too up right.
If i ever put a video together, you'll see what i'm about. Wouldn't you think that'd be a good way to promote yourself in the business? Almost like an audition tape ya know? But then you'd be exposed ya dig.
yeah work on your punching combos with speed...not power.....speed beats power anyday....also keep ur hands up..but decent for just starting! goodluck!
he is not a beginner he been post boxing vids like a year ago.. lol
yeah I have boxed since february last year, but I would say that is being fairly new to boxing. And I haven't really had much acces to a real boxing gym either.
It looks okay for now. You need to make sure you are focusing on your technique. Try to snap those punches more, step in with that jab and TURN THAT CROSS OVER. Lean into that ****. Gotta put your ass into it. work some combos in there as well, double and triple jabs/ 1-2-3's, 2-3-2's, Etc. Gotta get use to tossing them out.
ALSO get some head movement in there. If you are gonna be an outboxer, work that long rhythm(in and out). on the inside work the short rhythm (left and right).
If you don't have access to a gym you need to start training smarter. That means, read more books, watch more fight tape and write stuff down so that you remember it, and practice, practice, practice. You have to remember that for those of us who go to a gym, we are throwing hundreds and is some rare cases thousands of more punches than you in a month. You have to make up for that with more quality, focused training. really think out your exercises for the day and focus on improving your technique. Training yourself is REALLY,REALLY hard, you have to put in a whole lot of effort to get the same results you would get at a gym,a nd even then, it wont be nearly as good.
