I sparred the 4th day I went to the gym.
And the first punch that I got hited with Broke My nose.
Then I fighted back and did OK, still got my arse kicked to ****.
But now, that I have been at the gym for 7th months, the same guy cant keep up with me. The last time I spared with him, he barely survived the first minute.
.
So just expect to suck at first. After each day pass youll get better!!!!!!!

Hello guys I did well in my first sparring session a while ago, but I don't know if I can call
that sparring session a success because my partner was a coward!
This is what happened, I was so nervous when I got in the ring especially all the people was looking at me
I felt like running out of the gym (hahahaha) then the bell rang and we close the distance, He was really
agressive and started with 1 jab and then a 1-2 combination which I was able to POORLY defend. I was disoriented
and I paniced cause after that he started going forward nonstop and throwing different combinations. I did'nt
know what to do and my trainer shouted jab! And I was able to get my bearings and I threw a hard jab and it hit
my opponent really good.
The funny part started here, My opponent suddenly stopped and we switched roles. I am now the attacker and I
started coming forward but the funny thing is my opponent just got really scared and defended like he was not a
boxer! Do you get what I mean? Its like just covering your face and putting your hands up in a non-boxer type of
way ( I hope you get what I mean) And from there I just hit him with nonstop left right shots to the body cause
he was covering his face and He said we he doesnt want to continue anymore.

It would be best if you get somebody who can kick your ass, so you can see what your doing wrong.

Nothing wrong with being out through a baptism of fire. You can hit the bag all you want and shadow box for months, but a few sparring sessions will teach you so much more. Bags and air dont punch back!
I got my ass kicked so many times at first, but then tbh getting hit stops bothering you after a while, thats when you can focus on returning the favour. Dont be scared of getting hit if you want to fight just try and avoid it!
