This last month I've trained a wopping 8 days...I started a new job and I usually work 3-11. Does anybody else work similar hours? What do you do that lets you squeeze training in?Im also starting a new semester at college.
Im kicking my own ass right now and Im forcing myself to train no matter what time it is, I just hope I can keep it up, maybe thats all I have to do is kick my own ass. This is the kind of thing I normally do but I make minor changes every month or so:
DAYS 1, 3, 5
-Morning
Handspeed (maybe) 15 minutes
Anaerobic Conditioning 12-20 minutes
-Evening
Skills (gym or 8 x 3 minute rounds shadowboxing & drilling with and without handweights and possibly a few rounds of heavybag too) 45 minutes if the gym isnt open, otherwise its about 2 hours
Plyometrics (12+ sets for the whole body) time varies but I take long breaks
Core Circuits 15-20 minutes
DAYS 2, 4
-Morning
Other (different kinds of drills, changes with my mood)
Cardio 30-45 minutes
-Evening
Skills (same as the other day but with 4 rounds shoulder conditioning [endurance]) 45-120 minutes
Calisthenics (usually weighted or hard variations) about 30-45 minutes, longish breaks
Assuming I cant make it to the gym how would you fit this in or what would you change?
I just hate losing the fitness Ive worked hard to gain and hate that Ive been so lazy. Any tid bits or ideas would be appreciated.
