    How did the old-timers train?

When I say old timers I mean fighters of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Thanks!

they did hours on the treadmill, hours on the stepping machine, hours on the rowing maching.. to top it off, they used the punch bag that calculated how many punches are being thrown a round.

okay, im going to reply sensibly.

they did the usual speedbag, sparring, punchbag etc...roadwork, groundwork, they used to do a thing called logging, they used to do another thing called mountineering, lots of things really.
