Most of the time especially in boxing drastic weight cutting is no good!
so give me a safe time period to drop the weight where as my brain can keep the water levels normal.

Like someone else mentioned, you need to find out what your body fat percentage is. Also as far as I know, a Cruiserweight division still hasn't been introduced into Amateur Boxing. At 200lbs you'd be in the Heavyweight Division (91kg).
That's right. But alot of trainers refer to super heavies as heavies and heavyweights as cruiserweights because that is basically what they are in the pro's which is what people see on TV. They just made different names for no reason!

It's a load of bull****!! Water levels in the brain, lol. Unless you are severely dehydrated there is no reason why you can't lose alot of weight in a short amount of time. There is no time limits and if there were they would be differnet for everyone! Alot of people say when you lose a few stones you need to do it slowly or it comes back on. There is no scientific proof for this. Yuo can burn off alot of fat very quickly and safely by training hard. If you were so dehydrated that water was going out of your brain, you would feel light headed and thirsty. As long as you quench your thirst you will not dehydrate.
