    hey guys

    ive been tryin to get bak into shape after months of sitting on mi ass

    nd i do martial arts training but want to combine that with mi boxing training, so ive been doing the usual push ups, sit ups, eating right nd now im going to start running nd skipping.

    i did skipping yesturday but i found that i could only do sets of 50 as i would get a massive stitch in the left part of mi stomach.

    plzzz help me resolve this problem, i think it has sumthing to do with staminar.

    Tense your abs while skipping and try doing it on an empty stomach late at night or in the morning. To put it in lamens terms the stitch is your guts slipping down from the bouncing, having food in your stomach and intestines just makes it worse.

      People let this be a lesson to you about martial arts training. This is not uncommon in their world In our boxing club they don't get stitches when skipping. Skipping for 20 minutes should be easy peasy lemon squeazy. MMA is full of bums. i'm not saying it to be nasty, I'm saying it so people don't waste precious teenage years doing that **** like I did.

          It is true that boxing is a superior sport. I would say most boxers would beat MMA bums on fitness alone. I demonstrated this to a naysayer in the gym. the fat blob black belt was done after a few jabs. he was breathless at the intensity of the in and out boxing footwork. I hadn't even started! MMA bums like to stand in one place.

            i started mma frst and then got into boxing, i like mma nd boxing each has there strength and weaknesses.

            i do skipping on an empty stomach but once i start reaching 50 i strt cramping up so i have to take a break nd then skip again which doesnt give me a good enough work out.

            could it perhaps be mi breathing? cause ive found that latly wen i swim im stitching up aswell. i just do a regular breath in and out through mi nose

              50? Lol that is a joke. that must be like one minute of skipping. trust me boxing has the strenghts and MMa has the weaknesses as you just demonstrated. There should be no reason for getting stitches when skipping for that long unless you are training like a bum

                    i can only skip in sets of 50 nd the weird thing is im fairly athletic but i dont no i cnt do a set of skipping more then 50.
