Is there a doctor in the house?

I'm just wondering if anyone ever spars and finds new injuries the next day? My neck snapped quite a few times and I don't know how I can have come away with out any injuries.

Oh, I don't need defense tips. The guy was just way out of my weight range and I prob would have won on points anyway... I just think I should have been hurt.

Your neck snapped? That sounds like a pretty bad injury. And you weren't even hurt?

Welcome to the forum Mr Margarito!

Seriously though, some people (myself included) have joints that are the a bit like that. Not long after I sparred for the first time (10 years ago) my jaw started to click/make a cracking sound. Not long after I started lifting weights, my ankles, knees, elbows etc. were the same.

It's possible that you're the same. Do you get any sounds like that when stretching?

Ha ha ha... It snapped like what a chiro does, but worse... probably about 15 times. The guy has serious talent cause a single punch of his has double the power of anyone else in my gym. I just could not physically block the shots, so what ever he threw was gonna **** me even if it wasn't a direct hit. We no had no headgear cause it was actually supposed to be really really light...lol

i think you should do more neck stretches before you spar.

Good call. I went to the chiro and got my neck readjusted so i'll be fine. I got some good exercises to do too.

Yeah I know. My coach is cool. He's really good with that stuff.
