Lots, and don't forget to put a few drops of natural lemon juice in it. By the way you should also have at least one colonic irrigation, and an enema every day. An annual fast is very healthy and in the long run improves your training.

just curious, but what's healthy about fasting, and why would it improve your long term athleticism?

Don't start fasting for a whole week out of the blue. Work up to it if you really want to be able to do a week.

I suggest starting out doing one day of fasting a week or two for about a month, and then do 2 full days every 2-3 weeks or so. Try 3 days after about 3-4 months. If you can do 3 days without too many problems, you can do a week. After the 3rd day you get a sense of mental and physical cleansing, and you stop thinking about food as much.

              Good luck.

how can anybody fast for a week, unless it is religiously practiced. food is essential for body inorder for it to perform any physical tasks. if you're trying to loose weight man just get up and work out, and yes you can eat at the same time, but eating smarter. stop being lazy, be smart and active.

Your body is electrical? It still need energy to work efficiently, the decisions up to you. Personally I like food too much to give it up for a week.

your nervous system which sends amounts of electrical impulses works on electrical signals from your brain to make your muscles respond but you consume food to use the necessary energy. im going to use a car as an analogy, it does require electricity for things to occur like the spark once the ignition kicks in for the fuel to ignite to undergo a change of processes to make the system as a whole to function, but without the key ingredient (fuel) which is converted into a source of energy, the engine itself (assuming its combustible), it will not get from point A to point B as a dynamic system which by similarities our body can be considered to be a "dynamic system". you cant expect to get from point A to point B at an athletic level. sure the human body can undergo 2 weeks without food for survival, but its not optimal for it to undergo these variations to be at ideal or even peak performance, especially if were talking about a weight loss or much even a boxing training routine..
