I didn't get much grief from being a fighter, when i first started my grandmother was agaisnt it, saying it was a gangster sport and i would get mixed up with the wrong people, that was like 10 years ago, now every time she talks to me she asks how my training is going.

About 2 years ago i was at a party, and a ex-girlfriend was there with her ****** hockey player boyfriend. The guy knew who i was and kept trying to give me attitude like he was a badass or something. I walked up to them just to say hi to the girl(I have to admit i wanted to **** the dude up as soon as i saw him.), he told me to leave his girl alone or i would regret it. I told him that she was probably thinking of me when he was ****ing her. I wasn't even done with my setence that he swung at me, he missed and i cracked him with a straight left. He dropped to the ground like a pounch of potato.

I walked away like nothing happened, she was screaming at like crazy, i'll always remember what she said "*******, YOU'RE JUST AN ANIMAL, PEOPLE LIKE YOU SHOULD BE LOCKED IN A CAGE!"

The day after my mother called me, the ***** had called my mother to tell her what happened. Mom gave me some ****.

But whats the most annoying thing you hear when you tell people you're a boxer or say any ****** lines you've heard?

I dont participate in boxing (just a fan) but im a blackbelt in tae kwon do and i always get ****** comments like 'YOUR A BLACK BELT?!?! OMG THAT MEANS YOU COULD LIKE BREAK ME IN HALF!!!'

Although different is it similar in boxing? Could imagine people picking fights alot
being a blackbelt means less than nothing actually. i know my brother beat the crap out of a TKD blackbelt who won sparring competitions.

why point comps? in chinese boxing, it is full contact including throws and takedowns.

Well i'm very short and thin, 5ft 5 and super featherweight so when I tell people I box, they like "wtf, look how small you are, my friend boxes and hes like twice your size and has real big muscles". Something along them lines... Oh and people think because they are bigger than me, think they could fill me in, however when I offer them a match by rules and contest, they turn it down. (they are my friends usually, but my friends think they can beat me up lol).

And Equilibrum, that story sucks man. I hate it when the wrong person gets the blame when the other is to blame.

what i usualy get off people is ' your too skinny to be a boxer!' that really pisses me off!!

Also when people hear i like boxing suddenly everyone thinks theyre an expert on the sport just because they seen a couple of Hatton and amir Khan fights. When Hatton fought Floyd i told everyone Hatton would get beat comfortably and people actually thought i was mad and didnt know what i was talking about because they didnt realise that Floyd was p4p the best.

Ive jst started protein shakes and people at work have started saying ' that stuff will ruin your kidneys' - yes well you smoke 20 a day so **** off. and 'well your no bigger than yesterday' - **** me a forgot i was drinkin magic juice here!!!!!!

haha I remember bringing home a tub of whey and my dad thought it was steroids. I don't think they know it is just basically pure protein, but instead some mystical powder which turns you into arny over night.
