Don't have that kind of cardio to do it in a remotely decent time yet, but I can push myself to do a 2 mile in 12-13 minutes.

Maybe you got the distance wrong. I dont think it should take anybody half an hour to run 2.5 miles. Id have ran 4miles by then and i'm not really a fast runner, and no doubt weigh more than you.
if it was all uphill on like a 15% incline, that time would actually be reasonable. you'd be surprised how much an incline slows you down and jacks up the heart rate. try it with a heartrate monitor sometime- its really nuts.

that being said, unless you were on a treadmill, it was unlikely that you were running on a 15% incline the entire time, but there's nothing wrong with a slow time if you're getting back in shape. just don't stagnate and get that mileage up.

haven't timed a 5 mile but its definitely not at 30 yet. my 1 mile time is still in the low 6's...

i can do 3 in about 20-21 min but haven't done 5 yet for time...

39 minutes must be hard work,I can run 4.5m in 33 and a half minutes,I've not ran that one in ages because it's brutal and I need to be motivated ,anything over 4.5m I take it easier .

I aim for 36 minutes. That is how long a pro needs his legs for.

Have done it in 30mins.26secs. But it's now been 3 weeks since i have run because i fractured a metatarsal bone in my right foot. ****in sucks! Still gotta wait a few more weeks for it to heal again
