yeah 6-8 meals a day is hella tricky...but the less food you eat the more your body puts away for storage..i.e. fat.

by less food i mean stuffing yourself twice a day or so...but three times a day is good..lol...just do what you feel comfortable with..and watch the caloric intake.

i want to know if that was a serious question. trying not to be an ******* but do you really not know what carbs are?

carbs are the nutrients that are basically the quick energy supplies. all bread, pasta, rice etc is high in carbs.

I AM FROM THE CAMP THAT BELIEVES IN CARBS POST WORKOUT

BUT if you are really trying to lose weight you for sure for sure need to limit your carb intake. it sounds like you are eating a ton of carbs and that is going to make your fat loss hard.

IDEALLY, your post workout meal (the feeding within 3 hours after exercise) should have a lean (not a lot of fat) protein source and carbs.

the carbs act as a shuttle to efficiently carry the protein where it is needed. this efficiency is what gets you stronger and less sore.

HOWEVER, if you REALLY need to lose weight and you try these carb meals post workout and they make you gain weight, cut the carbs.

The post workout window (3 hours after exercise) is the time your body handles carbs the best (uses them without turning as much into fat.) If you want to lose fat, the obvious answer is to eat most of your carbs post workout when you can digest them the best, and limit carbs the rest of the day. This is too hard for a lot of people though. That leads them to say it would never work. In my opinion it is ideal, but people will disagree.

i forgot to mention, you speed up your metabolism by eating every 3 hours (not stuffing yourself silly).

This is important. I think most people will agree.

if you are eating 2-3 big meals a day you are going to have a slow metabolism. if you are eating 2-3 small or medium sized meals you are still going to have a slow metabolism. you want a fast one. do what you think is right.

are you really allergic to most fruits and vegetables or is that just an excuse to not eat them bc you don't like them? nevertheless they are very very important to your diet, and you said most fruits and vegetables that means there are some you are not "allergic" to.

          eat those.

You need to cut calories to loose weight not carbs. And if you dont want to have ****ty workouts u need plenty of carbs.

i absolutely agree that you need to cut calories to lose weight, but i guess i was assuming his caloric intake was at the appropriate level for his fat loss.

What i was suggesting was that he get his calories in check AND time his carb intake right to maximize fat oxidation. Assuming calories are at the appropriate level cutting carbs definitely helps you cut fat. this goes into a whole long discussion about macronutrient profiles but think about it, if you are trying to lose weight and you are eating pasta and bread with every meal will it be as fast as if you limited carbs at certain times?

will you have AS good of workouts as if you were carbing up all day? probably not. will they be ****ty? probably not. will you lose fat more efficiently? definitely.

Okay so i'll try to eat something like a banana before training and rice/sallad after training, But what should i have for breakfast/lunch? Bread with cucumber/butter? ( I wake up around 12 AM usually quite hungry) And can anyone make an example on how big meals you should have for like 6-8 times a day?

If he gets in adequete protein, and essential fatty acids then he can eat as much carbs as he wants to fill the rest of his cals. Its still not going to be a extreme amount because he will have many of his calories taken up from protein and fats anyways.

Also you do not need to eat 6-8 meals a day it does nothing to speed up the metabolism. It has been a hugely overdramticised myth that is not true( i could show proof but am too lazy to find links ). As long as the calories and macros are the same you will see the same results with 2 meals or 8 meals.

                      my food plan yesterday:

                      morning approx 830:
                      cereal+ banana+one daily multivitamin

                      eleven o'clock:
pasta alfredo about a cups worth

                      one o' clock:
                      turkey hotdog, on wheat bread

                      three o' clock:
                      turkey hotdog, on wheat bread

then...i was busy at work so i couldnt eat...
then i went to the gym...so again i couldnt eat...
                      but after the gym

                      approx 8:30 pm:
                      a turkey pattie
and side of salad(ranch dressing...cuz i dont like lettuce plain..bleh!)

those were my meals...on an ideal day i would have eaten something around fiveish...
but i dont like to eat right before i hit the gym for three hours...
                      it makes me feel off...

also drank lots and lots and lots of water...to the point where i had to take a piss every like twentyfive-thirty minutes

its like 115 degrees Farenheit here so...water is a nessesity.
