    I'll shortly try to say what stands in the thread;

KostyaTzyu44: "I guess many people lost their first fight."
P4PKING_2008: "50% of the people lost their first fight."
Rafael_S: "It's possible that more or less than 50% of the people lost their first fight. Since fights also happen between people who have their first fights and people who already have had their first fight."

Then you suddenly totally change the subject. Going from what actually HAPPENED for all the people (the percentage of people who lost their first fight) to what COULD HAPPEN for 1 sinlge person. (prediction whether he will win or lose his first fight)

P4PKING_2008: "It doesn't matter if it's the first or second fight, you always have a 50% chance of winning for each fight."
Rafael_S: "It's not because you have 2 options (win/lose) that you have a 50% chance. Otherwise it would be a coincidence that good fighters have good records.
Say I have a first fight against someone who has won his only fight I still have a 50/50 chance of winning correct? And a 50% of losing that fight.

      No.
It's quite absurd to make exact predictions for something unpredictable as a boxing fight. You can't say it's 50% just because you have 2 options (win/lose).

I don't really know how to explain this. It's something you have to understand using common sense I guess.

EDIT: I'll try to explain with an example I just came up with though.
You have a coin with a black and white side.
If you toss it, you would say it's always 50% chance it will be black or white. And that's correct if there would be ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER factors playing role.
The way you toss it is a factor, the wind is a factor. And probably many other things are also factors. It's possible to make it fall on the black side 100% of times if you toss it in a certain manner with a certain windpower/direction.

For a fight there are also many factors playing role. And with many I mean probably over a million.
The biggest factors that most of the times determine the outcome, however, are skill, power and speed. That's also why good fighters have usually have good records.

Yes you can. You have no other option but for one to win and the other to lose. There is no other way around it. Win or lose whichever fight you are in.

So according to you: 50% of the children die at age of 2? Because they have 2 options: die or not die.
50% of the people also must use crack then. Cause they either use it, or they don't.

The only thing where you can use your 50% thingie is in TOTAL fights lost/won.

Wow, I get home from work to realize my thread's been turned into a pissing contest.

Guys, life's too short to keep checking in some thread to see if someones badmouthing you. And if they are badmouthing you, **** it. Let 'em... do something else other than come in here and cloud my thread. Now I have to sift through the "twoayouts" (aka Pesci, "My Cousin Vinny") flames to find posts that I deem valuable. Like the guy who told me I was too stiff. If that guy's post was in between the flames I woulda never seen it. **** caring about flames on a forum, seriously....What are you trying to protect your b-scene legacy haha who gives a ****, just live life, and ignore whatever bothers you....the way I see it, is if someone badmouths me and I happen to read it, I might post one (1) ONE post back to em and never look at the thread again.

take it out on the road, or your punching bag, or hell even your girls *****, **** her raw and take out all your b-scene aggression on it. just please refrain from posting back to back flames, like 20 in a day that's too much...1 or 2 replies per guy per day is enough.

Erm no. That can be avoided. In a fight you know it will start and end. Where one wins and the other loses. So 50% of people have lost their first fights.

I'm sorry but I just hate it when dumb people are to ****** to notice their mistakes. Even when you give them valid reasons and prep-school-examples.

Losing a fight can also be avoided.
Tell me; what's the reason why you train every week?
EDIT: I also just read you STILL think 50% of the people lost their FIRST fight. God damn. That you still haven't give in into that.
Nevermind this. I'm not responding anymore. You have to be the dumbest 17 year old I ever met.
