You hear a lot of talk about glass jaws and china chins these days, mostly from people who have never boxed. Any man can be knocked out, you just have to hit him the right way. David Tua is considered by many to have a cast iron jaw, yet he was knocked out in the amateurs. Wladimir Klitschko has never been counted out yet many claim he has a glass jaw. Why bother to listen to the gossip? It is all bull****.

So because anyone can be knocked out, it's "gossip" and "bull****" to discuss a fighter's punch resistance? Some fighters can take a shot better than others...

there is no real glass jaw syndrome. sometimes, it comes down to a punch you didn't see, or not being fully prepared, or running out of adrenaline, or not having that fighter mentality.

it has many variables and is not as simple as some seem to make it. one thing i was observing at our tournament a month ago was how people reacting to punches. of course i notice this everytime i watch boxing. but it is much different when u are watching people who have completely different punch training and methods.

Yeh its down to alot about havin a glass chin but no one is born with one to be fair just matters how you react to being hit.
