  • Anybody got any good tips on how to improve reflexes?

Was just wondering if anybody knew any drills I could try out at home to help improve my reflexes.

    Cheers.

I dont think theres much you can do at home, your reflexes are probably good enough. While shadowboxing try countering (slipping, ducking) your make believe opponent this will make it more natural and automatic making it seem like your reflexes are better when really its all timing. Sparring is the best thing you can do though.

Having great reflexes is like having common sense. You either have it or you don't.

therre is a huge genetic factor here but IMO you can get better by sparring, get your opponent to throw weak punches as fast as he can at you just try and slip them.

Try using the double end bag more often. Speed bag, skip rope, or just having someone throw punches at you.

On a serious note, try shadowboxing in a pool. Roy Jones used to do it all the time.
