  • compare ur weeks Training Routines. (may 11-may 17)

everyone post up ur routine after each day of training. im curious to see what everyones been training like as of right now. itll be cool to keep these goin to see how ppls training routines and what they do in the gym changes as time goes on...

ill post up my sunday routine early.. i know its only thursday.. but it gives people time to see the thread.. dumb idea ... maybe.. but im bored and its giving me a little motivation to train harder so why not haha. hopefully some ppl post up... jus try to follow these guidelines

EITHER POST RIGHT AFTER YOUR DAILY ROUTINE EACH TRAINING DAY...
OR IF U READ THIS THREAD LATE AND KINDA REMEMBER WHAT U DID U CAN POST UR FULL WEEKS TRAINING..

    BUT LIST

    - WHAT YOU DID IN THE GYM TRAINING. GIVE DETAILS.
    - SPARRING WRITE UPS
    - RUNNING INFO AND DETAILS

AND ALSO MAKE SURE TO TRACK YOUR WEIGHT AS THE WEEK GOES ON

write ups for each day only, dont write up like "i ran a lot this week and hit the bag like 4 times this week, sparred once"

get more specific, each day detailed, track what u do. try to add a little each day maybe. just compare what u do each day to everyone else, and even yourself, thanks

alrite... from where im from its almost 7pm.. i did my trainin for today earlier... ill post what i did..

      SUNDAY

      - started off around 1pm..
      - today wasnt too serious, i was with my buddy who was gunna help me with some padwork.. so we basiclly just went for a nice run. awesome bike trails, lots of uphills, downhills to sprint, off road trails, waterfalls and rivers, beautifal scenery... we ran for a solid 20-30 minutes, prolly 1-2 miles.. not too hard but not easy...
      - after we finished our run we wrapped up the hands, and got straight to the pads.. not really how i train, i like to warm up the hands and arms with shadowboxing.. but we got str8 to it.. did 3 10-20 minute rounds of pads with a lot of communication, tried new things, i got to work on a LOT of stuff. i felt really comfortable seeing how i was with my good friend. we did a lot of blocking drills, lots of power punching drills, and basiclly he just tried to ware me out and eventually i was done.. we finished.. and it was just after 3pm...

i felt great after, arms are still tired...

      so quick overall day:

-20-30 minute 1-2 mile run (great bike trails, ups downs, offroads)
      - 3 10-20 minute rounds of handpads

ill post up again tomorrow after a REAL training day in the gym..
peace and thanks for those who listening...

I usually do the same thing every day, though when i go to the gym i add some workouts. I never ever weightlift except the Shrugs. Ever since i started doing this a few weeks ago i gained a few pounds of muscle and look stronger.
I'll post what i do tomorro tho

                TODAY (MONDAY):
Ill do a 2 mile rune around lunchtime (im on study leave - for people who have exams)
Ill go to boxing later where i will:
                - 2 rounds of pads
                - 6 rounds of heavy bags
                - 2 rounds shadow
                - 2 rounds skip
                - 1 round 2kg dumbell shadow
                and hopefully some sparring

ive been training and eating hard. i dropped from 167 lbs -> 159 in 3 weeks of gradual transition. trying to get under 152 to fight am welterweight (the weightclasses are wide), its either fight welter (152) or fight middle (167)

Come home from work, run 3 miles.

Get to gym 5 minutes or so shadow box
                  skip for 6 rounds
                  bags for 6 rounds
                  pads for 4 rounds
"coach spar" - which is basically my coach and a big belly pad (like Ricky Hatton trains) do that for one or two rounds
                  then sparring
maybe do a circuit of push ups/sit ups/crunches/star jumps... mix it up, do ten sets of ten.

Lately though, instead of the circuit i've been doing sprints...run around the basketball court outside our gym. jog up one long side, do side to side running down the short and sprint down the other long side. Do it ten times.

Then have a sauna and go home.

                    MONDAY

                    - 4 rounds of shadowboxing
                    - 4 rounds of 2 minute round sparring

i went with a guy like 15 pounds lighter then me. we spar all the time he is more experienced then me, he has like 10 fights ive never fought... first round was feeling out, we both landed a bit. round 2 and 3 he landed more. i kinda just took some , i wasnt feelin it today, really didnt even wanna go to the gym but i forced myself... but ya trainer asked if i wanted to stop there or keep goin and i said keep goin so he said one more.. i did one more and tried to step it up more, i landed some good body shots and hooks. a nice right hand or two as well. it was a pretty solid 4 rounds.
