haha some good stories lol. sometimes people at my school go all like" ohh im guna come train at your gym and kick your ass" and i just tell em 2 shut the **** up, but since ive been in a couple of fistfights no one reli says **** nemore but cos im only about 5"1 or 2 and only weigh 7.7 stone some guys think they can take me but i would kick all there asses neway

I may have told this story before, but a guy at my wife's office had been getting too buddy-buddy with her. Crossing over from the "friend zone," if you know what I mean. Inviting her to lunch, going to her musical performances, etc.

Instead of telling me about it, she took matters into her own hands and told him, "My husband has a boxing match on Saturday, and I hate sitting by myself. You should come."

"A what?"

"Oh, he's a boxer. He has a fight this weekend."

"Um. . . . sure, I'll come."

That was the match that I won by RTD not long ago. A real slugfest.

many people and boxing coaches (who are new to me) think I cannot punch or box well because I do muay thai and brazilian jiujitsu. This irritates me because they are so close minded. There was this guy at a public gym I was visiting and he was telling me about how good boxing was. He also said that with good boxing you dont need any kicks, knees, grappling or anything else. He said if a grappler came in like this, a boxer would counter with this and he showed me some ridiculous wrestling move gone wrong. THe whole time I'm thinking this guy is a douche because I have started boxing way before any of those other styles and I knew the guy was full of it. I interrogated him and after I asked him if he ever competed, he tells me only in backyard brawls. He asked me if I wanted to compete I said I do and he asked me more so I told him more and then he shut up after that and didnt talk to me again.

i fought this so called golden glove in a shopping mall one time, threw a left hook he stepped back and i followed through with a straight right and knocked him on his ass onto a set of tables it got real wild he got no hits in it ended with me havin him in a headlock givin him uppercuts, good fun

ya so i think its safe to say that im not the only one that gets into arguments, fights or call outs to come to my gym from other people that know im a boxer. Another time is when i got into a fight in my driveway with my old sparring partner. Man it was ****ed up but all the drugs and alcohol took his skill away and putting him down on the pavement was easy as 1-2 not even 3 lol

i get that sometimes when in school iv been boxing for a year and my mate said he wanted to try it so i let him come to the gym with me and he thinks he is the dogs bollocks now in school lol and sometimes trys it on with me like punching me in the arm lol but i no i would kill him in a spar lol
