i recommend doing a bit of both. most people i spar or have fought are bigger, or considerably larger than me.

staying on the outside is what the most popular strategy is. that strategy is the attack from outside with a flurry of quick shots and back out type.

sometimes, you have to get really, really, aggressive and get them back on thier heels. i'm 5'8", roughly 160 lbs. the biggest guy i foughtvwas 6'3" 270 - 280 lbs. and this was a real fight.

i would love to hear if anybody has fought a bigger size difference than me.

"get inside taller men" thats the most steretypical comment ever. just coz ur shorter dnt mean u cnt counter punch, look at buddy and pernell, they were short and alwasy used to counter punch, theres no rite or wrong answer, just learn both techniques and see wat 1 is best for u.

Too true - Ibragimov/Klitschko also comes to mind. Poor Sultan couldn't even get inside, let alone work it!

I like to do the pendullum step, so constantly in and out of range of their jab. Until i can time it correctly and throw an overhand right over their jab to get inside to set myself up for a good combo and then try and stay on their toes for as long as i can, in the hope for getting a liver shot in.

                Bring it to them...

                they probably have longer reach...

So unless you have quick hands to get inside so quickly after dodging a punch it would be advised....

To jab your way in and create head shots by tearing their body up...

They will lose alot fo their affect and pop by you being inside...

Watch out for some uppercuts though.
