Muscle burns fat....the more you have the more fat you will burn....

But if he has to worry about making weight...its a catch 22 because muscle also weighs more than fat......

Weight training keeps your metabolic rate elevated far after each session as well....so you are right....

Just find a healthy-ish diet that you maintain (if your not really obese) your weight. Portion ****ing control people, 1 plate no seconds unless your starved because you worked ****ing hard all day. Not in a book either since they are all gimmicks and/or for very fat individuals. Now throw in a couple snacks too (bananas, apples, small yogurt, etc) between lunch and supper or even after supper too. Most people say dont eat carbs or whatever at such & such time but **** that, if your still a bit hungry eat a bit just to settle the stomach a bit so you can sleep (you dont feel hungry when sleeping anyways) but make it fruit or something obviously healthy. Work out as well, running is great, intervals, bodyweight exercises (research them there are tonnes of tough and effective ones) anything but watching TV. 30-60 minutes is all you need.

There now you know. Its simpler than you guys make it.

do a combination of long distance running and interval training ( sprints up hills ) throughout the week

make it so its a routine thing that ur goin out and doin road work clockin ur miles in, u will see results in no time

also eat right and thats just common sense

          Stairs, stairs and more stairs.

Failing that try inclined sprinting. Jogging takes much longer for the same results. Sprint until failure, get up and sprint again.

Oh and btw a lot of people here think that situps reduce fat in your midsection. Wrong. You can have the nicest six pack in the world but it will be hidden behind the fat unless you do cardio.

Hope it helps T you flashy mofo.

Try out HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)

It apparently burns more fat than long drawn out aerobic runs. I'm only just starting it myself after building an aerebic base.

Google HIIT and check it out!

agree with the burpees, and also they are more fun than just running.
