    left hook

    Hi to all

My second question is about left hook, fingers downwards or inwards? Our coach teaches to hold fingers downwards for longer reach. Other coach from thai boxing gym showed fingers inwards. I downloaded Title boxing videos ( thanks for posting them in http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=162240 ) and in the first video about heavy bag trainer explains about more power from holding fingers downwards, but his boxer hits the bag with inwards. For me it seems that for far and average distance hit fingers chould be downwards, for close distance inwards. How are you taught?

I was always taught to throw the hook with my fingers facing inwards.

I feel like I get a lot more snap in the hook when I rotate my knuckles towards the ground....
