My Wrestling workouts were hardcore. Doing mat drill in 30 degrees temp at 6:30 am before school was even in. Running football bleachers. Being timed in a lap and if you dont hit a minute you gotta run it again. Facing the whole team in a round robbin. Being tested constantly for your spot in a wrestle off. Struggling to get out of a hole with all of your might when you're tired. That **** aint no joke.

I was District Champion my first year 5A. regional qualifier.Second year District runner up,3rd year Freestyle and Greco-Roman state qualifier. So I know what that **** takes and its no joke. I just found boxing alot more easier and less tiring in the ring. Ppl used to make fun of me cause I would gas fast, although I was the best one on my team. But I still tired like nothing. In boxing? I rarely get tired.

There is a huge difference between the physical difficulty and the actually difficulty of the sport. I have a feeling that what Jose Luis Castillo and Diego Corrales went through was much more difficult than any wrestling match could hope to be.

What it boils down to with any sport is how hard you push yourself. If you just coast by in boxing it can be easy, if you really push yourself it can be very tough. Same with wrestling, although its harder to coast in wrestling.

Wrestling was tougher. I got so many more injuries from it too..Boxing training is brutal dont get me wrong. But in boxing you can coast. If you move away in wrestling you get cautioned once then they give ur opponent a point anytime after that. The only time you can really coast in freestyle wrestling is when you have someone on the ground and you just pretend to try n do moves so they dont stand you up and u have a chance to get a breather.

I wrestled, trained and competed in BJJ and sub grappling, and now boxing.

Wrestling was the hardest, then boxing then BJJ and sub grappling just cause you can stall pretty easily in BJJ and grappling.

I find boxing the hardest technically.

i dont no anything about wrestling how long are the fight or rounds if they have em???? and ofcourse if ur a pro boxer or wrestler trainin for a fight is a million times harder then goin to ur gym 3 times a week right!!!! so most of us dont really no which is harder.

but for a hobby i guess wrestling might be harder cos i get tired play fightin wid my lil bro quick!!!

when i first read this I was gonna say boxing for sure but than I thought back as kid how tired I was in the third period of a wrestling match and I think I am gonna go with wrestling with boxing a close second.

Also for wrestling and grappling you may have several matches in a day. not happening with boxing.

For a lot of NAGA and GQ tournies you can have as many as 4-5 matches in a day.

                    i would say wrestling
it is not that hard to coast in wrestling if you have too i mean riding legs requires like no energy and you can just hold someone in the clinch if you have too
