I'll finish my 3 miles tonight maybe Im strongest at night anyhow but friends coming over make it difficult to work out. gotta rest for a bit for the drills and bag work....Im gonna go get a bucket lol I may need it. Does anybody know any tricks for just zoning out while you jog so you can ignore the cramps? My wind is fine its the cramp in your stomach thats killin me.
1600 meters is a mile. maybe if you go to the outskirts of your town and find a sign that says ''visitors somthing 3km" that could help you or if theres a track n filed run 4 laps n thats a mile. whats your weight class ? i live in edmonton maybe ill see you at provincials or somthing

I love to see this... people wanting to train more... I've always taken interest that.

When you master this *(and you will, when you stick to it)*..just increase...and increase.... You'll start to like training just as much as me.

      Everything gets better.

I know what you mean da1catas, i'm up to at least 2 hours a night and only stop when i have to. Boxing is pretty much one of the best things to happen to me, something to focus on for a change.

Thanks man. How far do you run? And does anybody have any tricks for combating muscle soreness? particularly in the legs because I just started a new job (1 day in grande prairie and I already have a job ha ha) as a labourer for a masonry outfit thats building several schools around here and I was sore all day. It wasnt crippling soreness but it did suck. I love this job its a great workout for the grip (holy **** is it ever) and the traps. I may have to cut something outta the first 4 things or cut down for now but I really dont want to. To let you know what I HAVE done for soreness I...Took extra protein (about 75grams), had a cool shower after the running/drills portion and hopped on the massage chair a few times.

Ok I was lying Im ****ing SORE. just didnt want to seem like a wuss because I havent done any REAL running in a long time. But its mostly in my calves so I can get around but I look like Ive a stick up my ass. I think the drills and such are what did it since its alot of hopping and the soreness is high in my calves.

Hot and cold treatment does wonders to repair muscles, do a little google search for that. I used that a lot when i was hitting the plyo hard for bball, that and the extra protein, maybe some deap heat every morning and you will be feeling better in no time mate.
