Founding president of the American Society of Hypertension says "The present literature does not prove that a low-salt diet does much of anything for normal people, and may do some harm," said Dr. John Laragh, who is also a physician at The New York Hospital.

If you don't already have hypertension salt doesn't really matter at all, and is a vital nutrient to your body. It would truly be hard for you to have too much salt intake unless you regularly ate fast food, and processed foods and deli meat.

"more you sweat = more you de-tox your body of the minerals it absorbs through air, food, water, etc.."

Your body doesn't need to detox minerals it "absorbs". You can ingest minerals but your body does not "absorb" them. Sweatingis a function to cool your body temperature.

Your increased heart rate will pump blood faster through your kidneys slightly speeding up some processes, but your body is at all times constantly keeping toxins out of your systems. If at any point toxins entered your systems you would be very ill to dead.

        "5-7 minute stretch~calf muscles, thighs~hamstrings, and buttocks
10-20 minute jog moderate~steady pace (ensure that you maintain a pace that produces perspiration)

        2 minute walk~cool down

        2-3 minute stretch

        Proceed with routine exercise.

Trust you will begin to see the difference in your energy level and endurance."

After taking out comments about detoxing, regeneration (which is when you are sleeping, or resting, not active) and that is what you are left with....

In other Earth shattering news water is wet.

That is a 6th grade gym class routine.

            not for fighting....

that routine may be good for a beginner, but a moderate paced jog for 10-20 minutes, then a 2 minute walk for a cool down? is this a roadwork routine that ur talkin bout, cuz if it is, thats like a warmup to fighters' roadwork. a 10 minute jog aint **** dude...

am i misreading or misunderstanding something here??

              It's fool proof....

And it detoxes your body from "toxins".

It looks strangely similar to a standard warm up before interval training. Not goint to build endurance, unless you are just starting workouts.

                Yeah this is for beginners
I know this will not be sufficient for a fighter
Just a little push for those having trouble building endurance.

yea beginners would benefit from this, but only for a short while IMO. thanks for the info anyway though.

My advice is the latter. The purpose of running first (outdoors of course) is to release toxins that are accumulated and stored within the body (from the previous day). forget about eating prior to running. The only thing you should intake before and while you run is water (although some may go for Gatorade or some sort of replenishing drink with electrolytes)
