  • like some help ere!

ok i sparred lst week and although was not myself wasnt pleased with how i performed! i was burnt out from over trainign and although it wasmy first time sparring i feel very angry at myself for not doing what i do well! the guy i sparred had a strong jab and his a weight class larger than me! and he gave a meaty body shot too! only time i back pedalled him was with flurries!
so i was wondering how do you work on keeping your elbows in the right place, chin down, absorbing body shots, hand speed, and most importanly head movement!

You need to strengthen your core for body blows
Keeping your elbows in the right place could be done with shadow boxing

infront of a mirror making sure you keep proper form will help you with having your elbows in the right place, you can also check if your chin is tucked down. If your a beginner just training will get your handspeed up and once you get more comfortable thorwing combo's it will feel natural and you'll eventualy begin to speed up.

Where did he hit you with the body shot? What kind of punch?

It's not like there's only one way to stop it or anything.
