  • best workout of my life

i been in my gym for about a month now, its been great.. i am gettin use to how ppl work there now, its basiclly like rotations cuz its small there, everyone keeps moving, we do rounds on different things...

everytime i went i did like half hours worth of rounds on like one thing and id leave, but boy did i have that all wrong. when i went yesterday i decided i was gunna do sets of a bunch of different things, and i ended up doing a lot more then i expected and i did them in perfect order and got a second wind and lasted over 2 hours...

    my routine was intense

i started with 5 rounds on the heavybag... and when i say rounds its the everlast clock, 3 minute rounds 60 second breaks...

after my 5rounds on the heavy bag, i did 5 rounds of shadowboxing in the ring with 5 pound weights in each hand... then i did 5 rounds of speedbag... then 2 rounds of nonstop situps with medicine ball being thrown at me and at my stomach... then i did 3 rounds of skipping and 2 rounds on the uppercut bag

i was ****in doneeee after that.. suprisingly though on my last rounds on the uppercut bag i felt strong, still had my pop, but at the 5th round on the heavybag at the start of my training, i was gassed... it was a great second wind i felt fresh.. putting the skipping and abs in between bags is a great idea... at least for me... my skipping and ab work outs killed me cuz i dont do them a lot, i am gunna throw them in the mix a lot more though, it lengthens my stay at the gym and also is so important. i feel great today. gunna go back tomorrow n do the same thing again. should be fighting real soon, sparring next week hopefully

try finishing a work out like that with a punch till exhaustion drill on the heavy bag.

i thought id quote this n add part 2.. today was nuts as well...

heres a quick write up on today

was having some family problems, causing stress and i dunno just not good feelings, so i went to the gym.. let out that frustration n pain...

seemed to push me a lil harder

i started off stretching wrapping my hands for 5 minutes...

then i started my rounds (3 minute round, 1 minute break in between)

              - 4 rounds of speedbag...
              - 2 rounds of shadowboxing in the mirrior with 4 ilb dumbells..
              - 2 rounds of skipping...
              - 3 rounds of shadow boxing in the ring...
              - 8 rounds on the heavybag.. 8 HARD rounds
              - 2 rounds of str8 sit ups with medicine ball. that **** kills me...
              - 2 rounds on the double end bag then i was done

              ill update again soon

Question 1 , does Boxing more side on generate more power when u throw your right hand in your opinion

Question 2 ,how often should i do abdominal exercises everyday or 3 days a week like you would if you were weight training i would have thought they need time to rest because of soreness of is it best just to work through the soreness

hmm.. ur first question ur gunna have to re-word cuz i dont understand it...

                  and the second one..

if ur training for a fight and have a bout coming up.. do ur abdominal excersizes everyday, set a number of rounds or amount of situps u gotta do that day and do it. dont matter if u do it all at once or do it split through out ur day, as long as it gets done and u feel the burn, u go all out...

if ur jus training normally. id throw ab exersizes in there everytime ur in the gym, so if u go to the gym 3 days a week, do abs 3 days a week.

cheers ,what i was referring to in the 1st question is standing side on instead of square on to give your oponent less of a target

i was wondering if standing more side on and having your right hand having to come across your body more would generate more power than throwing it standing more square on

not blantently sqaure on just a little say
