**** it, as far as IM concerned its back on. Im goin to the gym tommorrow and puttin my name down for this one. Ill do the one in January too. I dont care if I have to sneak into the office to sign up and then switch trainers if Merqui wont corner me. I want to fight.
I dont care, **** it Im tired of waiting, I wanna fight. Im not even worried about winning or losing I just want to fight I dont give a **** if its super heavyweight I aint scared of anybody. I mainly focus on throwing body shots only to get in and then workin the body when I get in, that plus the fact that IM goin to be shorter than my opponent, and I normally take some shots to get in so I already know I aint winning but **** it, Im not about winning or losing right now I just want to fight and get experience. If I take this and the January fight then boom I already got two amateur fights when all this time I havent had none. Ill keep fighting while I drop weight and eventually be around light heavy and by then I should have enough amatuer fights to start talkin pro.Last edited by Animal Squabbs; 10-21-2007, 08:24 PM.

I think he should have let you go in at superheavy. Obviously your permanent amateur career would be better fought at a lower weight, but there wouldn't be any harm in letting you get the first fight out of the way even if the weight is a bit higher.
There is something interesting about your post. You said that you aim to get down to 205 to fight at a different weight division. In the amateurs, 201 and over is superheavyweight, and then 178 to 201 is heavyweight. So you actually have to lose a bit more if you want to fight at heavyweight, 205 you would still be superheavyweight. I guess if you get down that far, what's 4 more pounds?

I think 4 pounds is one visit to the toilet for Animal Squabbs.

Oh, now that I read through the rest of the posts I see the weight division point was already brought up by DarkStranger. My apologies.
